1% on monthly qualifying purchases between $0-$300
Plus 2% on monthly qualifying purchases between $300-$500
Plus 3% on monthly qualifying purchases between $500-$600
Plus 4% on monthly qualifying purchases above $600

• *Available only at select participating Safeway stores. Safeway Inc. will assign funds of up to $20 million annually for contribution to organization(s) through the eScrip program. Should customer contributions for any month exceed Safeway's maximum allowable amount allocated to assigned funds Safeway's contributions will be adjusted accordingly, not to exceed the maximum amount.
• Effective August 1, 2010, participating organizations can earn up to $25,000 from Safeway between August 1 and July 31 annually. The $25,000 will be spread out over 12 months, so that each organization will have access to monthly funds, subject to the terms of the program.
• Effective January 1, 2011, organization(s) must earn a minimum of $100 annually (January 1 - December 31) to continue to receive contributions through the Safeway eScrip program.

Exclusions
Monthly qualifying purchases exclude sales tax and purchases of: Beer, Wine, Spirits, Tobacco Products, Fuel, All Fluid Items in the Refrigerated Dairy Section (including Fluid Dairy and Dairy Substitutes), Prescription Items and Co-payments, Bus/Commuter Passes, Fishing/Hunting Licenses and Tags, Postage Stamps, Money Orders, Money Transfers, Ski Tickets, Amusement Park Tickets, Event Tickets, Lottery Tickets, Phone Cards, Gift Cards, and Gift Certificates; also excludes: Safeway Club Card Savings, Safeway Store Coupons, Manufacturers' Coupons, and Bottle Deposits/CRV.

Safeway reserves the right to exclude additional items from qualified purchases, to modify the list of organizations to which it contributes funds, and to cancel its participation in the eScrip program at any time in the future.

Requirements
In order to participate in the eScrip program, you must first register your Safeway Club Card, choosing your preferred organization(s) for contribution. Present your registered Safeway Club Card in a participating Safeway store at the checkout to track your qualifying purchases and contributions to your chosen organization(s).
