The Safeway Club Card for Education Program runs from October 1st through May 31st

Contributions
Safeway Club Card
1% On Monthly Purchases Between $0 - $400
Plus 2% On Monthly Purchases Between $400 - $600
Plus 3% On Monthly Purchases Between $600 - $650

Here's how it works: If your monthly purchases totaled $625, our donation earned would be $8.75.
$400 x 1% + $200 x 2% + $25 x 3% = $8.75

Exclusions
Exclude purchases of Safeway Home Delivery, Alcohol, Tobacco, Fluid Dairy Products (CA and NV only), Online Shopping, Sports Games, Vendor Coupons, US Postage Stamps, Sports Games, Vendor Coupons, Lottery Tickets, Gift Certificates/Gift Cards, Commuter Passes, Amusement Park Passes, Money Orders, Gasoline Purchases, CRV (California Redemption Value), that portion of a Pharmacy prescription not paid for by the customer, Safeway Club Savings, Safeway Store Coupons, and Sales Tax.

Payment in the form of cash, check or credit card accepted with club card. Present your registered SAFEWAY CLUB CARD (available at participating stores) when making your purchase. Use of your registered club card is required at checkout to automatically track your purchase and contributions to your organization.
Vendor reserves the right to exclude additional purchase transactions in the future.

Safeway will dedicate over $25 Million annually for youth education in the communities we serve. Should contributions exceed the contribution goal, a supporters contribution may be adjusted accordingly.
